Hi Gang!
We’re entering into very exciting times now—ballots should be arriving in our mailboxes any minute!
That means the fuse is lit, and we’ve got to reach as many folks as we can—as fast as we can—to talk with them about what’s best for our beloved Alexandria Township and how I’d love to lend a hand as a member of our Township Committee.
To that end, I’m very lucky to have a special volunteer on my campaign helping me to make phone calls and reach out to people. At 96, she has nearly a century of experience under her belt, and I’m incredibly grateful she’s offered to help me spread the word. She’s known me since the day I was born, so I’m confident she’ll have no problem telling our fellow Alexandrians anything they want to know about me (we’ll see if that’s a good thing!).
Her name is Sara—but I prefer to call her Grandma.
Meet Grandma

Pictured here with my adorable nephew Benny, Grandma is one heck of a lady. She’s sharp as a tack, and her sense of humor will knock you over if you’re not careful. A few years ago, her doctor told her he’d put her picture on the wall once she turns 100. Her response?
“How do you know you’ll still be here?”
Let me tell you, I’m incredibly proud to have inherited those genes. And I’m far from the only one to recognize how special she is—even New Jersey journalists have written about her at length.
I’m grateful to have learned so much from her about how to keep a level head, how to work together with others, and how to treat everyone with kindness and respect. If I have the good fortune of serving on our Township Committee next year, you can be sure I’ll be putting all those lessons to work for the betterment of Alexandria.
Help Grandma spread the word!
If I could, I’d clone 100 Grandmas so that everyone in Alexandria could know the joy of getting a call from her. (But then my cheeks would probably be sore from all that pinching…)
Since that’s not (yet) possible, could I trouble you to help her get out the vote? Even if it’s just one phone call to a neighbor or friend (or stranger!), that would make a huge difference—and I know Grandma would certainly appreciate it.
Thank you!
Thanks in advance for your help—and thanks again for everything you’ve done so far! Judging by the number of new subscribers to this newsletter, you’ve already been sharing my campaign with many others, and that means a lot to me. Now let’s see how many more we can reach in the coming days!
Cheers to smilin’ and dialin’,
Max
